“Tastes like my grandmother's kitchen in Jackson. I ordered one loaf for a potluck and drove back the next day for three more.”
Dana W. · Classic Banana Bread
“The crust actually crackles. I've stopped buying bread anywhere else — Saturday pickup is part of my routine now.”
Marcus T. · Country Sourdough Loaf
“Bright, buttery, gone in an afternoon. The box was still warm when I picked it up. Dangerous knowledge.”
Priya S. · Lemon Bars
“Sent a photo of my daughter's drawing and they turned it into a cake. She cried. I cried. 10/10 would cry again.”
The Hollis family · Custom birthday cake
“Brown butter and flaky salt — these are not grocery-store cookies. My only complaint is the box empties too fast.”
Jordan B. · Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
“Ordered for Thanksgiving and my Mississippi-born mother-in-law asked for the recipe. Highest honor possible.”
Rosa M. · Pecan Pie

Our story

Rooted in Mississippi

Mississippi Makes started with two pans of banana bread and a family recipe box that crossed state lines. Every bake still comes from that box — stone-ground flour, local eggs, brown butter — made in small batches and picked up fresh in Fayetteville.
